Success Stories

Tried a recipe you found here on “Eating My Feelings”?  Send me a picture at and let me know how it went and I’ll share your reaction and any advice you have with my readers!  After all, who doesn’t love a little foodie fame?

Jean from Wichita, KS, treats her dogs Tango and Shadow (and the rest of the neighborhood pups!) to some Honey and Peanut Butter Puppy Biscuits! “Best dog treats ever! Just so you know I made packages of the cookies & your blog page printed out and took them to a party last night.  All dog people went home with one.  Should have printed out one of your great Asian recipes for the non-doggers!”

Susan from Long Grove, IL, tried the quick and easy Italian Chopped Salad with Oregano Vinaigrette recipe – and made some changes that made the recipe perfect for her! “I couldn’t find the radicchio so that was excluded (which didn’t bother me).  I used your provolone idea however I tried to cut calories when I could so I used Sargento’s super reduced fat provolone slices (40 cal. a slice).  I weighed out 6 ounces and then chopped the stack!  I used Abruzzi dried sausage, red bell pepper  and I used 1/2 cup red onion versus 1 cup.  And, I did not use salt in the dressing. The result was excellent!  I will definitely make this again.  And what is nice is that I have lots left over to eat for a day or two!  Thank you for the recipe!!”

Kate from Ripon, WI, tried the quick and easy recipe for Frozen Peanut Butter Puppy Treats! And based on the picture, I’d say it was a success, wouldn’t you? Don’t forget to send in your success stories – Kate shared her picture on Instagram for all the world to see just how much she loves to spoil her dog: “Thanks @eatingmyfeelingsblog for the puppy treat recipe! I have a very happy doodle!” So glad to hear the recipe turned out, and thanks for sharing!

Julie from Carlsbad, CA, has been busy!! She’s had success with two great recipes found here on Eating My Feelings! The first is the Sun Dried Tomato Pasta Sauce, which she said was fantastic! The second recipe she tried is one of my personal favorites: Better-than-Take-Out Orange Chicken! I love the before and after pictures – looks like the recipe was a hit!! Thanks for sharing – your support means the world!

Katherine and Chris from Dallas, TX, have mastered the art of Homemade Potstickers! Instead of using pork they opted for turkey, but the results are the same – absolutely delicious. Good work, guys! I’m proud to show off your newfound culinary skills.

Michele and Jean from Wichita, KS, made the Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza Rolls for the big game last Sunday! “Wow, they really are great! Your pizza rolls are delish!” Happy that Eating My Feelings could be a part of your Super Bowl Sunday, they look like they turned out perfectly!

Susan from Long Grove, IL, had a very quinoa-filled week! The first recipe she tried was the Southwestern Quinoa Salad with Black Beans, Red Bell Pepper, and Cilantro: “Excellent and easy! I added chicken and it worked:) thank you for introducing me to Quinoa, a funky little thing but really good!” The second recipe Susan whipped up was the Vegan Quinoa Sweet Potato Chili – equally delicious!

Joey from Miami, Florida, took some time out of his busy med school schedule to make these delicious Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies. And from what it sounds like, it was time well spent! “They turned out majorly yummy!” …good thing you’re not going to be an English teacher Joey. Glad you liked them!! Susan from Long Grove, IL, is at it again! …can you tell this is my Mom? She made our puppies some Frozen Peanut Butter Treats and they basically went bananas. These little ones are spoiled beyond belief – She even let them lick the spoon! Welcome to the good life, guys.
